Thank you to everyone that has been able to attend our Lunch and Learn group training sessions! Each Lunch and Learn spotlights one of the IT tools provided to our faculty, staff and students and provides a personalized and interactive group training. If you missed any of our previous sessions, or wish to revisit any of the covered topics, recordings of the events are available at Mediaspace.

We are excited to announce that our October Lunch and Learn session will cover the basics of OneDrive.  OneDrive and Microsoft 365 make it easy to access, share, and collaborate with your classmates or co-workers on files from anywhere within FDU.

In this workshop, we will go over the general use of OneDrive, and how to use the application’s online storage capabilities.

This workshop will occur on Thursday, October 21st at 1PM ET and will explain how to:

  • Use OneDrive to store your files
  • Have files available at any given time and place using OneDrive
  • Keep data constantly backed up with Automatic Backup to OneDrive
  • Maximize local storage space with Files On-demand
  • Securely collaborate and share files by configuring Access Management and Settings

While these training sessions are open to all FDU faculty, staff, and students advance registration is required. We invite you to register below.

If you watched or attended any of our previous sessions, your feedback can help us to shape and develop the Lunch and Learn series. To participate in our brief five-question survey, please visit: Forms.  It will only take a couple minutes of your time and your opinions would be invaluable to us.

If you have any questions regarding the series or if you would like to suggest a topic for a future training session, please contact the Lunch & Learn team at fdulearning@fdu.edu.
