Network Edge Equipment Upgrade (Continuation)

On Friday, June 23rd, between 7AM and 9AM ET, USAN will continue our firewall upgrade on our network edge equipment. Users on the Metropolitan and Florham campuses will experience intermittent outages of wired and wireless internet service throughout the upgrade. This includes access to the wired and wireless internet, as well as access to New Jersey-based FDU resources such as network drives, online grading, Office365.fdu.edu, and Blackboard. Off-campus users will not be able to access the FDU VPN, and Vancouver campus users will be unable to access New Jersey-based FDU resources. We ask that all users save their work before the 7AM start time and avoid performing critical work during the upgrade.

We understand the inconvenience that network downtime can cause for our community. As always, we try to schedule this work at times that will be minimally intrusive for most of our users.
