What is Opus?

FDU’s Opus is a Red Hat Linux based server. Opus provides an environment for FDU students to practice using software such as:

If you are a professor and your class requires access to the Opus server, we have streamlined the process by offering an Opus Account. Upon you and your students submitting the form, FDU IT will provide an Opus account for each member of your class.

Leaving FDU IT

To access Forms, you will be directed to our SAMI Support Portal where you will be asked to log in using your NETID and authenticate using Duo. Once you click “Next,” you will be forwarded to samisupport.fdu.edu in a new window or tab.
