Feedback Form for IT Articles

We are excited to announce a significant enhancement to the FDU IT website: the launch of our new Feedback Form. This tool is the latest stride in our commitment to providing the FDU community with the most accurate, reliable, and user-friendly IT support documentation.

This initiative invites every member of our community to play an active role in ensuring the quality and precision of our extensive content library. We understand the complexities involved in maintaining such a vast repository of information, and that’s why we’re enlisting your keen eyes and experiences. Whether it’s updating outdated info, correcting broken links, rectifying inaccuracies, or just sharing your insights for improvement, your contributions are invaluable.

Using the feedback form is straightforward. When browsing our IT support articles, you’ll find the new feedback option in the dropdown menu in the article’s header or footer. In addition, you will also find a shortcut to copy the article’s direct URL link, which was previously only accessible in the article’s footer section.

Note

The feedback form is not currently available on tech alerts or in software catalog pages.

Clicking this will direct you to a new page where the article’s title is pre-populated for ease of reference.

Tip

You can adjust the feedback form to your preference with our light and dark mode toggle, located at the top right of the page.

We ask for your NETID so that we can follow up with you for any additional information or clarifications needed to address the issue.

In the form, you’ll find a dropdown menu where you can categorize the nature of the feedback. Following that, a detailed description box awaits your input, where the more specific you can be, the better equipped we are to make swift corrections.

Attaching a screenshot is incredibly helpful. It allows us to visually pinpoint and quickly resolve the issue.

Note

When providing attachments with your feedback, please note that the form currently only supports JPG or PNG file types. Ensure your files do not exceed the 10MB size limit to facilitate a smooth submission process.

We thank you in advance for your contributions. Your insights and feedback are crucial in keeping our IT support content not only current but also reflective of our collective knowledge and experience. Together, let’s continue to foster a robust and resourceful digital environment at FDU.
