Network Equipment Upgrade

On Friday, June 16th, between 7AM and 9AM ET, USAN will perform an unscheduled firewall upgrade on our network Edge equipment. This upgrade will cause intermittent outages of wired and wireless internet service for users on the Metropolitan and Florham campuses, affecting access to various New Jersey based FDU resources such as network drives, online grading, Office365.fdu.edu, Blackboard, and the FDU VPN. Users on the Vancouver campus will also experience difficulty accessing New Jersey based FDU resources. We recommend saving all work before the 7AM start time and refraining from critical tasks during the upgrade.
