Reminder: Windows 10 Update Being Applied to FDU Computers

FDU OIRT has completed testing on the latest version of Microsoft Windows 10 and we are ready to distribute the update to all FDU-owned Windows computers. Although the new version, 22H2, does not contain any new features, it includes a variety of important fixes and security updates.

Starting today, we will begin automatically and unobtrusively pushing this update to FDU-owned computers. You will then be prompted to reboot, which should take approximately 30 minutes. To ensure that you can complete this process at a convenient time, you can postpone the update for up to seven days. After seven days, the update notification will remain on the screen until the process is completed.
