Cisco IP Phone Security Update

On Thursday, February 23rd at 2 AM, a security patch will be applied to FDU’s Cisco IP phones. Once completed, users can confirm that the upgrade was successful directly from their phones.

Press the gear icon button to bring up the applications menu.

Next, use the circular navigation button to highlight “Phone Information” and click the big gray button in the center to select.

Once the upgrade is completed, users should see a “last upgrade” date of 2-23-23.
