Virtru Email Encryption Pilot Program

Today, FDU is launching a pilot program of Virtru Email Encryption.  Virtru will provide our community with the ability to confidently share sensitive information, including PI and PHI, over secured email. This encryption solution offers a host of powerful advanced features. With Virtru, you have the ability to prevent your message from being forwarded, set expiration dates for viewing attachments, and even revoke access to your email messages at any time. Despite this powerful feature set, the true appeal of Virtru is in its simplicity. Once the Virtru plug-in is installed on your Outlook email client, turning encryption on and off is as effortless as toggling a single option.
