On Friday, our phone vendor, NWN, experienced a security incident that initially did not impact FDU. Unfortunately, over the weekend, this incident led to multiple NWN clients, including FDU, losing connection with the Jabber soft phone service.
As of 9:45 AM this morning, the Jabber service is still down. FDU is in contact with NWN on an hourly basis and we are exploring possible workarounds to provide service to our users.
We currently have no further information. If you are affected by the outage, feel free to open a SAMI ticket. We will provide updates to anyone who has a ticket open for Jabber-related issues.
